Advisor to Khanumyan Allegedly 'Accommodated' Displaced Persons from Artsakh in Hotels, But No Such Individuals Existed
According to the newspaper "Zhoghovurd," an advisor to the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Artsakh, Haik Khanumyan, has found himself at the center of a scandal. It has been revealed that this advisor claimed to have 'accommodated' displaced persons from Artsakh in various hotels, but in reality, no such individuals existed, and he allegedly pocketed the expenses.
Sources from Artsakh report that the advisor is a close associate of Khanumyan, and it remains unclear whether the advisor acted independently or with the minister's knowledge. "Zhoghovurd" newspaper learned that the Artsakh law enforcement agencies have uncovered this situation, and a criminal case has been initiated to investigate how these funds could have been misappropriated, especially as various social issues persist in Artsakh following the 44-day war.
