Opposition MPs Should Be Deprived of Bonuses, Says Sisak Gabrielyan
“Opposition MPs can be deprived of bonuses.” This was stated by SISAK GABRIELYAN, a member of the 'Civil Contract' faction, during a discussion at the extraordinary session of the National Assembly on a package of bills related to amendments and supplements to the law on administrative-territorial division.
The MP noted that the opposition has consistently demonstrated passivity and boycotts the parliament's work on every occasion, effectively failing to carry out any activity.
“I do not understand why our opposition colleagues have agreed to take up parliamentary mandates if they intend to leave the hall during every discussion on any issue. After that, they proudly declare that they are ready to hand over their bonuses to others. Well, of course, they should refuse them because if this continues, they should be deprived of them altogether,” said Gabrielyan.
It should be noted that today, the 'Armenia' and 'I Have Honor' factions boycotted the extraordinary session of the National Assembly.
