Government Approves Decision: January 2, 3, 4, 5, and 7 Will Be Working Days
The government approved a bill today during its session regarding amendments to the Law on Holidays and Memorial Days of the Republic of Armenia, presented by the Ministry of Economics. According to the bill, January 2, 3, 4, 5, and 7 will be designated as working days. The bill was included in the package of issues not reported at the government session.
According to the justification provided by the ministry, holidays and non-working days affect not only the gross domestic product but also the volumes of production (services) in the main sectors of the economy, the implementation of foreign economic activities (export and import volumes), as well as contractual relations with local and foreign partner organizations.
