Russian Defense Minister Meets with Acting Armenian Defense Minister Arshak Karapetyan in Unofficial Meeting
The Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu met in Moscow with the acting Minister of Defense of Armenia, Arshak Karapetyan. This has been reported by Interfax, citing its sources.
According to insiders, Karapetyan arrived in Moscow on the morning of July 27. The negotiations were of a non-public nature, thus the topics and details of the meeting are still unknown.
It is noted that the day before, both parties had a phone conversation during which they discussed issues related to ensuring security in the South Caucasus.
