7.7 Million Drams for Renovation of Patrol Service Buildings

The police will sign a contract worth 7,672,420 drams with "Starmale" LLC for the current renovation of the newly formed temporary location of the patrol service buildings. This information has been reported by NEWS.am based on the decision published in the procurement system of the Ministry of Finance regarding the signing of a contract for police needs.

The tender was conducted urgently, with 7 companies participating, offering amounts up to 20,054,000 drams for the renovation works. Following negotiations held on July 2, the participant who offered the lowest price, "Starmale" LLC, was selected. The police, as the customer, will sign a contract within the time frame provided by the law on procurement.

It should be noted that the administrative building of the newly formed Patrol Service Center is located within the territory of the police's patrol and checkpoint service in Yerevan, on Khorenatsi Street. The reform strategy of the RA Police and the corresponding action plan for 2020-2022 included capital renovation of approximately 3,771 square meters of working space. According to preliminary estimates, a total of 24,799,400 drams will be needed for the renovation of the administrative buildings of the Patrol Service and the Operational Management Center.

We remind you that the new patrol service of the police began operations in Yerevan starting July 7, replacing the patrol checkpoint service regiment of the Yerevan department and the first detachment of the road police in Yerevan.
