Arthur Davtyan Shines at Tokyo Olympics, Attended by Armenian President Armen Sarkissian

Gymnast Arthur Davtyan delivered an outstanding performance in the qualifying round of the vault, achieving a total score of 14.866, as reported by Armsport.am.

For his second, flawless vault, Davtyan received a perfect score of 15, placing him in the lead in this category.

If he advances past the qualifying round, Davtyan is set to compete in the final for rings on August 1 at 13:44, followed by the vault final on August 2 at 13:54.

As reported by Sputnik Armenia, Armenian President Armen Sarkissian and Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Karen Giloyan were among those watching his performance from the stands.
