What Fate Befell Prime Minister's Advisor's Father's Case
The newspaper "Zhoghovurd" reports: The criminal case initiated regarding the actions of Anna Vardapetyan, the advisor to Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, has been closed. The press office of the RA Investigative Committee informed "Zhoghovurd" that the case was closed due to the statute of limitations, and the damages have been compensated.
According to the official statement, officials from the Avan administrative district, using their official positions against the interests of service, undertook measures of apparent illegal influence regarding the provision of funds to the 'Khut' charitable foundation operating in the administrative district by citizens. The director of this foundation is Vardapetyan's father. It is also noted that "Zhoghovurd" had previously reported that Vardapetyan may be appointed as Minister of Justice.
