A video has surfaced online showing how floodwaters are sweeping away citizens who ventured onto the streets in China.
Specifically, the flooding occurred in Henan Province where embankments have collapsed due to the deluge, according to CGTN.
As reported by the Xinhua News Agency, the emergency response level at the site has been raised to the first level.
The television channel also reports that the local metro system has been flooded, and rescuers have evacuated trapped passengers.
