Serious Cuts Expected in Ministry of Defense as General Staff Merges with Ministry
According to information obtained by the newspaper «Iravunk», serious changes are anticipated in the Ministry of Defense. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia is set to merge with the Ministry of Defense. As a result, half of the approximately three thousand employees at the ministry are expected to be laid off.
