According to the newspaper 'Zhoghovurd', authorities are currently discussing who should submit resignations and who should go to parliament in the near future. Lilit Makunts, a member of the 'Civil Contract' party's electoral list, has already submitted her resignation request. According to the newspaper's sources, Makunts is preparing to leave, as she is expected to be in the United States with the status of ambassador by early August.
From the top ten of the electoral list of the Civil Contract party, Lena Nazaryan, Alen Simonyan, Arpi Davoyan, and Arsen Torosyan will go to parliament. Armen Pambukhchyan, who is the 20th on the ruling party's list, will remain at the Ministry of Emergency Situations and may be appointed as a minister soon. Former head of the government staff Eduard Aghajanyan will also be sent to parliament, as Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has made such a decision.
The 33rd on the list, Echmiadzin Mayor Diana Gasparyan, has submitted her resignation. Vilen Gabrielyan (Navak Tjoghos) is the 44th on the list and is also expected to be sent to parliament by Pashinyan.
