Why Nikol Pashinyan Decided to Decapitate the State Revenue Committee
According to the newspaper "Hraparak," it was quite unexpected when Nikol Pashinyan decided to decapitate the State Revenue Committee, with the Chairman Edward Hovhannisyan essentially having bid farewell to his position. A few days ago, he informed the staff that he would be leaving, waiting for the formation of a new government to formalize this change.
It became clear yesterday that his First Deputy, Rafik Mashadyan, who is a distant relative of Anna Hakobyan, is also leaving. In the morning, Mashadyan informed his staff of this news. Notably, it was Mashadyan who ensured the smooth operation of the tax sector at the SRC, being the most experienced official well-versed in the tax system.
According to some reports, one of the reasons for this "massacre" at the SRC is the Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine, where the current leadership has not implemented proper tax terror, provoking the discontent of the "boss." However, since Edward Hovhannisyan has obediently served in other matters, even securing votes during elections, it was decided to assign him a task. We have information that he will take the position of First Deputy to the future SRC Chairman Rustam Badasyan.
