Regulations Established for Licensing of Industrial Hemp Production, Import, Export
The government has set the regulations for licensing of industrial hemp production, import, export, and wholesale trade during its session today, July 15.
Accordingly, it is proposed to define the procedures for granting licenses and the grounds for application rejection. This will allow the licensing authority to exercise oversight over the licensing process.
Specific quotas for industrial hemp production, import, export, or wholesale trade activities are also established, aimed at ensuring compliance with relevant legal requirements.
The licensing of industrial hemp production, import, export, or wholesale trade will be carried out by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia, while the oversight of this activity will be conducted by the Market Surveillance Inspectorate.
