Iran's President Sends Message to Nikol Pashinyan
The newly elected President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, has sent a message to the Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan. This was reported by the Armenian Embassy in Iran.
"I highly appreciate your sincere congratulations on my election as the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The ties between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Armenia are based on the long-standing cultural relations between our two nations, which have always been friendly. The similar and close positions of the two countries on international and regional issues, accompanied by constructive cooperation, are indicators of the importance of our relationship. Common challenges have made the deepening of cooperation between the two countries unavoidable for ensuring peace and maintaining stability in the region," the message states.
The Iranian President expressed hope that in the coming period, they will be able to take influential steps based on the principle of synergy to strengthen the foundations of cooperation in various fields. "I wish you health and happiness, and to the government and people of the Republic of Armenia, I wish success and prosperity," the Iranian President's message concludes.
