A International Institute for Genocide Studies to Be Established in Turkey
The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, has signed a new decree for the establishment of the "International Institute for the Study of Genocide and Crimes Against Humanity" under the auspices of Istanbul University. This was reported by the Anadolu Agency.
Previously, Turkey had already established a state institute aimed at promoting the denial of the genocide perpetrated against Armenians, Assyrians, and Greeks by the authorities of the Ottoman Empire.
