New Bridge to be Built at Sadakhlо-Bagratashen Crossing Point

A new bridge will be built at the Sadakhlо-Bagratashen crossing point. Today, a cornerstone marking the start of construction was laid.

The ceremony was attended by Suren Papikyan, the acting Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of Armenia, and Irakli Karseladze, the Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia.

The newly constructed infrastructure, named 'Friendship', will consist of two bridges, each allowing one-way traffic, with a 1 meter distance between them, featuring two traffic lanes and a sidewalk. The bridge will also include external lighting and a drainage system.
