May 2021 Job Market Sets Record in Independent Armenia: Kerobyan
In May 2021, the job market hit a record in the history of independent Armenia, with 634,951 individuals registered in the employment database. This was noted by Vahan Kerobyan, the acting Minister of Economy of Armenia.
“The good news is that the number of job vacancies has increased even when adjusted for seasonal trends from 2019. I appeal to all compatriots: there is a severe shortage of workers in Armenia—shepherds, programmers, builders, waitstaff, designers, assemblers, and welders. Instead of emigrating, let us come together to enrich our country. We will soon share more detailed information,” he wrote.
