30,000 AMD Given for Voting in Favor of One of the Alliances: Police Uncover Vote Buying Case
Police operatives from the Ararat division have received information regarding vote buying and conducted explanatory work, leading to a resident of Vedi contacting the police on June 19. He reported that an individual gave him 30,000 drams so that he and his wife would vote in favor of one of the alliances participating in the snap parliamentary elections.
In the night of June 20, a 43-year-old resident of Vedi was located and taken into custody by the Ararat police. A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident. The man has been arrested.
