France Uses Tear Gas to Disperse Youth Breaking Curfew, Injuries Reported
In France, police used tear gas last night to disperse approximately 1,500 participants of an illegal party during the curfew. This was reported by Interfax. It has been noted that several individuals were injured, including police officers.
The incident occurred near the town of Redon. It took the police more than seven hours to disperse the young people. Participants of the party displayed aggressive behavior, throwing stones and bottles filled with explosive mixtures at the officers.
One party participant, a 22-year-old man, lost his hand during the clashes. Two police officers are currently hospitalized.
