Court Issues Ruling on Arzakantsyan's Eligibility for Elections
The decision of the Central Election Commission (CEC) to refuse the registration of Tigran Arzakantsyan, the prime ministerial candidate from the Armenian Democratic Party, was challenged in the Court of Appeals. In a session held today under the presidency of Judge Grigor Arakelyan, the court rejected the party's application and upheld the CEC's decision.
As a result, Arzakantsyan will not be able to participate in the elections.
