OSCE Chairperson Welcomes Return of 15 Armenian Prisoners and Information Transfer to Azerbaijan
OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Ann Linde welcomed the return of 15 Armenian prisoners by Azerbaijan in exchange for a map of mined territories. She made a statement regarding this on Twitter.
“We welcome Armenia’s return of 15 prisoners and the transfer of information to Azerbaijan, which will help facilitate demining,” Linde wrote.
She also emphasized that such confidence-building measures will help create an appropriate atmosphere for continuing negotiations under the auspices of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairpersons.
