“These Turks, when they entered Armenia, the first attack was on our faith and identity,” said Father Aharon Melkumyan, the spiritual leader of the Goris region of the Armenian Apostolic Church, during the pre-election campaign of the ‘Armenia’ alliance today.

“Back in 2017, when I said that this rootless person would be brought to power, none of you believed me. When the march started from Gyumri, I said, the conspiracy has begun. When it reached Yerevan, I contacted Davit Tonoyan and said, I see fire behind this, put a sack over his head, take him away, while Armenia hasn’t lost yet,” the clergyman noted.
