Baku Ready to Resolve Border Issues with Armenia, Says Azerbaijani Prime Minister
Baku supports the Moscow proposal to establish a trilateral commission for the delimitation and demarcation of the Azerbaijan-Armenia border, stated Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov, as reported by the RIA Novosti agency. The Prime Minister addressed a meeting of government leaders from CIS countries held in Minsk.
“Azerbaijan has initiated the process of determining border infrastructure and is prepared to constructively address the issue of border lines with Armenia. In this regard, Azerbaijan has supported the Russian proposal to create a trilateral commission for the delimitation and demarcation of the Azerbaijan-Armenia border. The determination of border lines is a technical process, and this process must be based on serious international legal grounds,” Asadov’s press service quoted him as saying.
