Aliyev on Developments at the Armenia-Azerbaijan Border
The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, believes that Armenia's appeal to the Collective Security Treaty Organization is unjustified. According to him, a process for delimiting the borders between Azerbaijan and Armenia is underway, there have been no border clashes, and the situation is stable.
Since May 12, Azerbaijani armed forces have reportedly infiltrated the territory of the Republic of Armenia in at least three directions and have effectively established positions several kilometers deep.
Negotiations have been ongoing for several days.
