Rustam Muradov to Participate in Negotiations with Azerbaijanis in Syunik Region

The commander of the Russian peacekeeping forces, General Rustam Muradov, will participate in ongoing negotiations in Syunik today, May 15. This was stated in a conversation with NEWS.am by Menua Hovsepyan, the deputy mayor of Goris, who added that the negotiations will begin at 15:00.

“The negotiations held yesterday did not yield results, and we are looking forward to today’s discussions, which will also involve the commander of the peacekeeping forces, Rustam Muradov. The Azerbaijanis have advanced above the village of Aknaghbyur, putting the city of Goris directly in their line of sight,” he said.

The deputy mayor noted that the local population is not afraid but is currently in a state of uncertainty.
