Baku Responds to Yerevan: Azerbaijani Border Guards are in 'Their Country's Positions' and Implementing Border Security Reinforcement Measures

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov had a phone conversation with Tajikistan's Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin, during which he presented the situation at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. According to Minval.az, Bayramov commented on Armenia's application to the CSTO regarding the border tensions.

"Yerevan's application to the CSTO concerning the situation at the border is unfounded and is nothing but an attempt to politicize this process," stated the Azerbaijani minister, adding that Azerbaijani border guards are in 'their country's positions' and are implementing measures to strengthen border security.
