We will solve this issue within the CSTO, but we must be prepared for bad scenarios: Hovik Aghazaryan

There has certainly been a failure on the part of the authorities, and if there were no such failures, we would not be discussing this issue at this moment. This was stated by Hovik Aghazaryan, a member of the "My Step" faction, during a special session of the National Assembly, referring to the situation in Syunik.

“Whether the failures are objective or subjective, let's leave that for time to assess. There are things that can be said in private conversations, but we cannot say them publicly, as the geopolitical situation is such that we need to understand what possible developments to expect,” Aghazaryan said.

He noted that the enemy is treacherous and cunning, and our responses must be commensurate. “I am confident that this issue can be resolved within the framework of the CSTO, but nevertheless, I believe we must be prepared for bad scenarios in every sense, and the option adopted by the government is the most accurate option,” the MP emphasized.
