Azerbaijan's State Border Service Comments on Recent Events at the Armenia-Azerbaijan Border
Azerbaijan's State Border Service has commented on recent events that occurred along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border. Apa.az reports that, "Following the restoration of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity, necessary infrastructure for the protection and security of borders continues to be established at the state border with Armenia."
"Recently, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has published an official stance regarding the events occurring in this area. Discussions are currently underway involving representatives from the border services of Azerbaijan and Armenia," the statement from Azerbaijan's State Border Service noted.
It is worth mentioning that Azerbaijani Armed Forces attempted to secure positional advancements in the border areas of Vardenis and Sisian.
