Azerbaijan Negotiates with Armenia: Bayramov
Azerbaijan is committed to reducing tensions in the region and is negotiating with Armenia regarding the situation at their border. This was announced by Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov during a phone conversation with Acting Assistant Secretary of State Phillip Reeker.
The parties discussed the current situation in the region and exchanged views on the tensions prevailing along the border between Azerbaijan and Armenia. Minister Jeyhun Bayramov emphasized that Azerbaijan is dedicated to alleviating tensions in the region. He drew attention to the fact that in order to resolve the tense situation at the border as soon as possible, the leadership of the State Border Service of Azerbaijan has been sent to the region for several hours, and negotiations are being conducted with the opposing side,” the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry's statement said, according to TASS.
