Azerbaijan Must Respect Armenia's Territorial Integrity, Senator to U.S. President

The Chairman of the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Bob Menendez, has urged the White House to actively support Armenia. He demanded that the Biden administration address this issue at the highest level, clarifying that further aggression and threats are simply unacceptable, and that Azerbaijan must respect Armenia's territorial integrity.

It is worth noting that Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan officially confirmed that Azerbaijani armed forces crossed the state border of Armenia, advancing up to 3.5 kilometers in the area adjacent to the Black Lake in Syunik. Based on this incident, Nikol Pashinyan convened a National Security Council meeting yesterday, resulting in an official appeal from Armenia to the CSTO today, urging measures to eliminate the threat.
