Armenian Revolutionary Federation Member Bagrat Esayan Charged

The member of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation, Bagrat Esayan, has been charged under the first part of Article 258 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia for alleged hooliganism. As a preventive measure, he has been required to sign a pledge not to leave.

Esayan was not sent a notification; he personally appeared at the Yerevan investigative department. He has refused to provide testimony, describing the charges against him as politically motivated persecution.
