Anna Javakhyan, a member of the Yerevan City Council's 'My Step' faction, has decided to resign from her duties. She announced this on her Facebook page.
The post reads as follows:
“Dear Yerevan residents, today I have made the decision to resign from my position as a member of the Yerevan City Council. The reasons are personal, and I ask you to respect my decision. I want to express my gratitude to my colleagues in the council and to the Mayor of Yerevan for our joint work for the benefit and welfare of our beloved city. It has been a supreme honor to work with you all and to know each and every one of you. I wish you great strength and enthusiasm in your future work.”
