False Information: Kapan Municipality Head Denies Assault Rumors
Recently, information circulated online that Manvel Paramazyan, the head of the Kapan community, was summoned to the Syunik regional administration today, where a rather severe conversation took place. The situation escalated to the point of shouting and physical confrontation. As a result, according to rumors, the mayor was brutally assaulted.
In an interview with Auroranews, Manvel Paramazyan personally refuted the circulating information: "There is no such thing; I don’t know where this information came from. Have you seen me? Do you think it is that easy to assault me? This is false information, and it’s shameful. I don’t know who is spreading this information and whose interests they are serving," he said.
When asked if he faced any pressure after the Prime Minister’s recent visit to Syunik, he stated, "There has been no pressure. I don’t know what will happen tomorrow, but everything is fine for now."
