UN Has Not Responded to Russia's Requests to Join Mine Clearance Operations in Artsakh, Shoigu
The UN has not responded to Russia's requests to join mine clearance operations in Artsakh. This was announced by Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu in an interview with the Zvezda television channel.
“In November, we applied to the UN to participate in the mine clearance operations. The entire area is mined. People cannot return home. Has anyone come? No, no one,” said Shoigu, emphasizing that the mine clearance works are being carried out only by Russian and local sappers.
