Armenian Ambassador in Argentina Refuses to Return to Armenia
Esther Mkrtumyan, Armenia's Ambassador to Argentina, has secured another job in Argentina before stepping down from her position, opting not to return to Armenia. This information has been reported by Mediaport's Telegram channel, citing sources from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
She is now employed at an airport. While this move is seen as a scandalous act that tarnishes Armenia's reputation in international relations, sources from the Foreign Ministry indicate that it has become a common practice since 2018. Many ambassadors have chosen not to return after their resignation due to the entrenched injustices and social issues within the country.
