Prince Philip, Husband of the Queen of England, Passes Away
Prince Philip, the husband of Queen Elizabeth, has passed away at the age of 99, Buckingham Palace has announced.
“Her Majesty the Queen is deeply saddened to announce the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh,” the palace's statement read.
“His Royal Highness peacefully passed away this morning at Windsor Castle. The Royal Family join with people around the world in mourning his loss,” according to a statement released by the British royal household, as reported by Reuters.
