Security in Syunik: What Happened, Has Anyone Been Harmed Since the War? - My Step MP
Security in Syunik is certainly ensured, but what happened there? This was stated by Armen Khachatryan, a member of the 'My Step' faction, during a conversation with journalists.
In response to questions raised frequently and videos being shared, the MP said, 'What has happened in Syunik during this time? Has anyone suffered any harm since the war, or has anyone been affected by the enemy?'
'There are consequences of the war; there has been tremendous damage—that is undeniable. But has any citizen faced security issues in Syunik during this time? Certainly not,' he added.
At the same time, the MP discussed the warnings from the National Security Service, stating that the agency is doing the right thing. 'I have personally been stopped and told that if I need any assistance, I should call the published number. This means that assistance will be dispatched if this number is called, even in the case of a vehicle breakdown. This is what it is, not that one should call in the event of abduction. If someone is abducted, how would they be able to call? No one can be abducted; serious political and military problems would arise if an Armenian citizen were to be harmed in any way,' he said.
