Substantial Increase in Daily New Cases of New Type Coronavirus After a Long Break, Says Nikol Pashinyan

It is with regret that I must state that after a sufficiently long break, we have a substantial increase in daily new cases of the new type of coronavirus, with over 700 positive results. This was announced by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a government meeting.

Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan, in turn, noted that as of today, the number of active cases has reached 6,772, with 901 hospitalized patients. Coronavirus treatment is being handled by 9 medical institutions, and there are 100 available beds.

Pashinyan urged everyone to strictly adhere to the anti-epidemic rules, expressing hope that there will not be a need to establish additional restrictions.
