Baku Claims No More Armenian Women Prisoners, But Reality Differs

Baku has announced that there are no longer any Armenian women prisoners in their custody. “In general, we would like to note that currently there are no women of Armenian descent detained in Azerbaijan. Most of the five women detained during the war have been released even during military operations,” said Leyla Abdullayeva, head of the press service of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

According to the Armenian side, Baku still holds three Armenian women.
