The Border of Armenia is Fully Protected by Our Armed Forces and Border Guards, Says Tavush Governor
Tavush Governor Hayk Chobanyan addressed recent reports suggesting that Azerbaijanis have planted a flag in the village of Azatamut and made measurements, as well as sightings of Russian peacekeepers' vehicles in Tavush province. He wrote on his Facebook page:
“Dear compatriots, criminal, false, and immoral individuals are once again exploiting the security of our borders, disturbing the peace of those living near the border. The border of Armenia, just as in the past, is fully protected by our armed forces and the border-guarding population. At the slightest indication of danger, we will all be united on the border like one person. I consider these immoral and irresponsible actions a personal affront to me and the people of Tavush, and I will personally pursue for everyone to publicly apologize.”
