Protesters Demand Explanation from Police Chief Outside Police Headquarters
Protesters have gathered outside the Police Headquarters of the Republic of Armenia, demanding that the police chief come down and provide clarification regarding what they describe as police misconduct.
Isaak Saghatelyan, the coordinator of the 'Movement for the Salvation of the Homeland', called on participants to block the police building. 'I have never seen such a brutal police force as the one we have now,' said Vazgen Manukyan, the unified candidate for Prime Minister, urging people to photograph the police officers who resort to violence.
