VIDEO: A few years ago, we had a chance to reach an agreement on Nagorno-Karabakh issue – Sergey Lavrov

The Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif is in Moscow on a working visit, where he held a press conference alongside Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. During the press conference, Sergey Lavrov spoke about the trilateral statement made during the Nagorno-Karabakh war.

“We have paid significant attention to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict for many years. We have consistently proposed various ideas that could lead to a peaceful resolution of the issue. A few years ago, we had a chance to reach an agreement that could have helped save lives. Unfortunately, that did not happen at that time,” he noted.
