New Interior Minister Appointed in Artsakh
The new Interior Minister of Artsakh will be Karen Sargsyan, the current head of the Emergency Situations Department. This was reported by the WarGonzo project.
It is noted that Sargsyan has been in Artsakh throughout the war, participating in neutralizing the consequences of attacks by the Azerbaijani armed forces, and is now actively involved in issues concerning missing persons and prisoners of war. He also maintains active communication with the Russian peacekeeping forces.
Previously, it was announced that the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Police of Artsakh would be incorporated into the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
