Karin Tonoyan Submits Inquiry to Sasun Mikayelyan Regarding Her Son
Karin Tonoyan, the president of the "My Son" NGO, has submitted an inquiry to Sasun Mikayelyan, the head of the Union of Volunteer Fighters. The inquiry is directed to the following address: Republic of Armenia, City of Yerevan, 22 Arshakunyats, Director of the "Hay Aspet" Educational and Charitable Foundation.
In her inquiry, Ms. Tonoyan requests answers to several questions, based on the requirements of Article 6, Part 1 of the Republic of Armenia Law on "Freedom of Information." Specifically, she asks:
- What connection or relationship did the hero of Artsakh, Menua Hovhannisyan, have with the Yerkrapah Volunteer Corps (YVC)?
- Was Menua Hovhannisyan a member of the YVC?
- On what basis was he conscripted and participated in the armed confrontations that began in Artsakh on September 27?
- What weapons and ammunition were provided to him for participation in military operations?
- Under whose command did he participate in the military operations?
Ms. Tonoyan also requests the provision of relevant documents concerning the answers to this inquiry, if such documents exist. The inquiry has been sent in both postal and electronic formats.
