Israeli Air Force Fighters Violate Lebanese Airspace Over Capital
Israeli Air Force fighters have violated Lebanese airspace and have been spotted over the skies of Lebanon's capital. This was reported by the Al Mayadeen television channel.
According to the information, the aircraft are flying at medium and low altitudes over the city. A drone is also hovering in the skies, with its engine noise audible in the southern suburbs of Beirut.
A source from the Lebanese Armed Forces Command reported that on January 5, the Israeli Air Force intruded into the country's airspace at least 10 times, conducting intensive flights over Beirut and the southern regions of Bashammoun, Shweifat, and Aramoun. The aircraft are mimicking attacks on the southern cities of Marjayoun and Bint Jbeil, as well as around the port of Tyre.
There have also been reports of double violations of the maritime border by Israeli naval vessels near the Nakoura headland.
