Photos: Ministry of Health Begins Centralization Process for Emergency Services
The Minister of Health, Arsen Torosyan, visited the National Burn Center, where recently acquired ambulances are stationed. During the visit, the minister became acquainted with the equipment and capabilities of the vehicles.
With funds from the 2020 state budget, the Ministry of Health has purchased 30 Toyota Land Cruisers and 10 Ford Transit ambulances. Additionally, 15 Nissan ambulances have been donated by the Armenian General Benevolent Union.
Furthermore, 12 ambulances have been received as donations (5 from Nikolay Sarkisov, 5 from the Mantashov Business Union, and 2 from the Webb Fontaine Holding). In accordance with a prior agreement with benefactor Nikolay Sarkisov, 5 of the donated vehicles have been allocated to the Republic of Artsakh.
The centralization process for emergency services will commence with the transportation of COVID-19 patients to medical centers.
