Armed Robbery Incident Occurs in Yerevan
On December 21, an armed robbery incident occurred in Yerevan. At approximately 03:10, Atom Babajanyan, a 39-year-old resident of Yerevan, reported to the Mashtots Police Division that at around 03:00 on the same day, a masked individual threatened him with a firearm and stole from him near the 'Gor' mourning hall located in the Shahumyan cemetery area, according to shamshyan.com.
According to the source, A. Babajanyan informed the police and investigators that he is the director of the 'Gor' mourning hall and that a masked individual armed with an automatic weapon had stolen several mobile phones from him.
A criminal case has been initiated in the investigation department under the qualifications of armed robbery.
