First Incident in Public: Police Remove Citizen on Andranik Kocharyan's Orders

The first incident before the mourning procession starting from Republic Square occurred earlier. On the orders of Andranik Kocharyan, a member of the National Assembly from the 'My Step' faction and head of the Defense and Security Committee, police removed a citizen from the square.

Tensions escalated during a press conference when Kocharyan refused to answer questions from a journalist from '5th Channel', accusing him of provocations. Others surrounding Kocharyan also joined the altercation with reporters.

“We all must go to Yerablur, and there are those waiting for us in Yerablur, namely our fallen soldiers,” announced Kocharyan, adding, “The Mndrik family tried everything yesterday, it didn’t work, and it won’t work today either.”
