Right now, an excavator is 'marking' the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan just a few kilometers from Kapan. A correspondent from Sputnik Armenia reports that the border line runs only a few hundred meters away from the Kapan airport.

According to local residents, Azerbaijanis are currently a few kilometers away. The excavator is 'mapping' the Soviet border and blocking the only road from Kapan to Khovsakan (Zangelan).

The border is marked exactly where Google Maps shows it.

It is worth noting that yesterday news circulated that today at 17:00, all advantageous positions in the Syunik region will be handed over to the enemy. In a conversation with journalists, Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan stated today, December 18, that the demarcation with Azerbaijan in the Syunik area is being carried out based on certain documentary grounds.

He reminded that yesterday the Ministry of Defense of Armenia announced that there would be no concessions from the territory of the Republic of Armenia.
