Landmine Explosion in Aghdam: Azerbaijan Reports Casualties
A landmine explosion in the Aghdam region, which passed to Azerbaijan, has resulted in one fatality and two injuries, as reported by Azerbaijan's Office of the Prosecutor General and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“On December 13, at 5:00 PM, one of the military personnel from the Ministry of Defense’s military unit No. N, along with Aghdam residents Toghrul Ahmedov (born in 1984) and Elchin Mamedov (born in 1990), detonated an anti-personnel mine,” the statement said.
According to the organizations' data, Mamedov has died, while Ahmedov and the serviceman are reported to be seriously injured. A criminal case has been initiated under the articles related to ‘preparing and conducting an aggressive war’ and ‘intentional murder.’
