Russian Peacekeepers Equip Outposts with Blockpost Fortifications
In Nagorno-Karabakh, Russian peacekeepers have fortified their outposts with protective structures designed to shield against gunfire and shrapnel, as well as to monitor nearby areas, reports RIA Novosti citing the Russian Ministry of Defense.
"Russian peacekeepers have equipped their outposts with Blockpost fortifications, which are intended to protect servicemen from small arms fire and shrapnel, as well as to conduct circular surveillance of the adjacent territory," the statement said.
It is noted that the infrastructure includes two modules for living quarters, a cooking block module, as well as a transport-technology block module, all powered by a permanent electricity supply. All modules are equipped with household appliances, electrical devices, and heating and air conditioning systems.
